In the past year she had undergone a radical hysterectomy and 3 different kind of chemos. She battles hard and refuses to give up. We all know how bad ass she is and how strong and inspiring she is. Last week she went into emergency room and was admitted for emergency surgery. While in the hospital it was discovered her cancer had grown and was causing her kidneys to fail. She is now at home recovering but she still is sick asf. She can barely walk and is going to be on bed rest for a min. Her doctors are going to put her ANOTHER chemo as the last 3 haven't done anything to help her. She isn't doing too good right now. Cancer has been real hard on her. Katrina is a very giving and loving person. She is a good friend to many and the godmother of our Michael. Kane and I are going to need all of ya to step up to the plate and pitch in to help her. We know everyone is out of work now due to the stupid COVID-19. But if y'all can buy beer and squares, y'all can pitch in 5$-10$. She has helped out a lot of people over the years. Its our turn to do right by her. She needs some things for home to help her recover and she needs it now. Insurance companies be dragging and she shouldn't have to wait for comfort. We would like to get her a recliner for the house so she can move out bed and sit up with out stressing herself. She also needs a step stool so she can move safely out of her bed and get back in with out stressing the stitches and tubes coming out her back. She needs a shower stool so she can safely take a shower with out getting the 2 tubes that are coming out her back from her kidneys wet (she has to be real careful she doesn't get an infection from the incision site or the drainage bags) A medical wedge pillow will be helpful while she sleeps. She will need a cane to help her walk when she is ready and has doctors permission to move around. We want to be able to take this stuff to her ASAP. Any left over money will be used to get medical stuff for the house like a blood pressure monitor (all this medicine she on she needs to monitor her blood pressure and heart rate), compression socks so she don't get blood clots, guaze, medical tape etc. Katrina is a very proud woman that would never ask for help. She still works (currently at home...and did you know that she was worked since she was 12) but she under the same money problems as we all are. Now is not the time for her to be hustling and making money. She needs to rest. She’s very sick. I’m no doctor but I do know that when chemo isn’t working, the effects chemo has on her body and now kidney not working right she should be in bed and not working. Medical supplies have gotten so expensive. Please do whatever you can and share...Thank You
