And my heart is all over the place.
In August 2012 I made the decision to leave home. I am 21, people call me jules or 'ze German' and the decision to go and explore the world was the best I've ever made. I left Germany without a proper plan, the only thing I knew is that I wanted to do what I always dreamt of: see the world -or better- see as much as I can fit in a lifetime.

The last year passed by really quick, I've seen a lot of beautiful things and met the most amazing people on my way. I had 7 different jobs in 4 different places, lived in my car for nearly 200 days, took about 5000 photos, booked 17 flights, travelled about 25000km by car, owned two cars (because my first one decided to die), built the most amazing friendships and realized that this is what it's all about: loving, laughing, sharing, dreaming, exploring, feeling and being happy!
During that time I've learnt how to live on a minimum of money, share all I've got with allthe other people who don't have anything and to appreciate everything I have!
Now, one year later I'm struggling to find a job again, with almost no money left and still half a country to go. My car needs fixing again ('You got one of them old bombs there mate', that's how the mechanic descibed it), I'm still trying to get a job and I don't want this journey to end here, not without having seen the other side of the country, getting to know more people and gain more life experience. Because if there is something that I've learned on my journey is that you never stop learning new things.
That's my story, and even if you're not donating I appreciate that you took the time to read what my life looks like at the moment. I don't want this journey to end here, I don't want to stop learning about people, cultures and countries and I will appreciate every cent that you donate. It will help to let the adventure go on, the adventure far away from home.
We are the sum of all the people that we meet in our lifetime.
