Hello world. My name is Rori and this is my partner and best friend Siya. We met on a blind date which i was reluctant to sit through. Ohhh boy i thought, i hope i am not going to sit through another interview. There is only so much trial and error dating a girl can go through in a life time. What i didn't know is that when it's time for the Universe to align, my goodness, cupid will strike. We have been fortunate to not only experience, respect and embrace love, but to also push ourselves to grow as individuals and a couple through working and studying full time. Over the past year we have embarked on a stressful yet empowering and beautiful journey of saving money for our first home. Despite our desire to loan funds from family and private institutions to cover the cost of property Transfer costs, we have always believed in the power of working towards owning our first home..Debt free. Debt has the power to cripple relationships and disturb inner peace. By all means we are determined to prevent ourselves from falling victim of borrowing beyond our means. To date, we have saved enough to place as deposit on our home and secure our haven where we can create memories and if he allows me, finally get a puppy.
