CALLING FRIENDS AND FAMILY.. WE NEED YOUR HELP..

3000 hungry children turn up everyday for a basic meal in Lavender Hill, a local area in Cape Town with high levels of poverty. The charity Philisa Abafazi currently provide food for 1500 and desperately need support to buy and prepare more meals to ensure no child leaves without being fed every day. Proud, hardworking people have had their livelihoods taken away overnight. No safety blanket, no savings, little to no government support. Its a devastating situation.

For your hard earned cash I put myself through severe pain.. I ran a half marathon around my garden today.. I suffered hard.. one of the toughest challenges mentally and physically I've ever done having done having walked no further than the front gate for the last 5 weeks. it was brutal..

I know usually donation requests are before the actual event, however from having the idea to getting on the start line took less than an hour today so please bare with me ;-)

Its my 40th bday in 3 weeks (yes guys, a shock I know considering I look fresh out of Uni lol).. for anyone who would have bought me a Becks Blue or Virgin Mary to celebrate, I'm asking for a donation instead..

No matter how small the donation it will be hugely appreciated and help a community desperate for support.
