Home for family of 7

I relocated to Indiana from Florida to care for my grandmother and have found myself unable to relocate back to Florida due to staying too long and having to forfiet my job in Florida. My husband and I have decided it will be easier and cheaper to stay here in Indiana and we have established jobs and the kids are in school. We have been staying with my grandmother since we got here and just can not seem to get ahead enough to afford a home. During tax season I chose to spend the tax refund on my grandmothers land tax bill that was behind. Though I have been condemed for making that choice I do not regret it, I figured I can bounce back easier than she can. Apparently not. To put it simply I have dug myself into a hole that I can not dig out of and my family needs a home of our own now that my grandmother is well again. We feel like a burden now to her though we pay our part we feel we are invading their privacy now that they do not need my help. My grandfather is a bitter old man and does not mind saying things that make us feel like we are bothering him just by being there regardless of how much he and she relied on us in the previous months. This is my last resort and a desperate attempt to raise enough money for a down payment on a house for my family and I'm sure this too will fail but thought it may be worth a shot.
