Home for a young family

Project aim

Natalia and Dawid have 5 kids and live in a room in Natalia's parents' flat. I would like to raise money for their accommodation. We need to get a minimum of £600 and the rest will be donated to them for the redecoration of the accommodation and purchase of furniture.

About the project

Natalia and Dawid are a young family with 5 kids. They currently live in a room (9 sqr meters) in Natalia's parents' flat. There are also Natalia's brothers and sisters still living in the flat with their parents (25 people in 5 rooms). They are a loving but poor family. Unfortunately they are unable to afford a mortgage for a house or a flat or rent a private accommodation. As you can imagine a young family like that should live on their own. The council is unable to house them in a council flat, as there is large demand in the area and not enough flats. Recently the log cabin has been put on sale, but they do not have enough funds to purchase it. The council offered a piece of land for the cabin to be placed on and to cover the costs of insulating the roof and walls so the place is habitable. The time is of the essence as although this sounds like a ridiculous idea for a family to have a permanent accommodation in the log cabin in the 21st century Europe, there are few other families that are considered the purchase. Any amount would be appreciated.

About me

My name is Anna I have been helping less fortunate families for more than 10 year. Although I have not met the family in person, I have been supporting them for the last 2 years collecting used clothing etc. round my friends and family and buying some food / sweets and stationary for the kids. I hope you will join me in helping this family.
