Home Downpayment

My husband and I are desperately trying to save up for a downpayment for a house. We have been married for 12 years but we've been together for 22 years. We don't have any children but we have three dogs who we love like children. We are renting now and our lease will be up in November and will have to renew again but we don't want to continue to pay high rent. We are running out of time and unable to save the money we need before November. The high rent is really stressful and drains us each and every month of our finances. We have been approved for a FHA loan but we need help with costs related to the home loan. These costs include the down payment, earnest money, due diligence money, appraisal fees, and other fees we may incur during this process. We are having trouble saving money in order to pay these expenses on the horizon. We live paycheck to paycheck at the moment and while we're trying to save money it seems like we can never seem to put anything back. My husband recently had open heart surgery and we have many medical bills associated with that ordeal. Much of our extra income per month goes to pay off that debt.
