Holly’s Tanzania Volunteering 2014

In August this year I will be volunteering as a student Nurse in Tanzania.  I will be helping in local hospitals in Morogoro.  These hospitals lack the equipment and resources the more developed countries enjoy, whilst enduring difficult working conditions and a chronic lack of staff.

Whilst I am there I will also be volunteering in the local Orphanage.  Tanzania is struggling under an HIV/AIDS epidemic and the majority of the children at the Orphanage have lost their parents to this disease.

I am asking my friends and family for your help in raising funds to enable me to take medical supplies to the local hospitals and toys/books to the Orphanage.

I am taking part in a sponsored run (maybe crawl!) and also doing various raffles, cake sales and fundraising events to raise as much as possible.

Together we can help make a difference to the children of Africa...any donation no matter how small is greatly received.  Thank you.
