Holiday Helper

Hello everyone my name is Teenah and I'm here to raise money for families in my community. Originally I had started this with the idea of helping kids with school lunches but have changed it just a bit. I've partnered up with the head lunch lady at a local elementary school to help pay down outstanding balances on lunch accounts. She informed me that the school district has changed its policy on school lunches and is letting kids charge their lunch accounts so they have a meal for the day and there is no longer a limit on how many times they are allowed to charge. However, the parents are still responsible for the accruing charges. The balances have become outrageously high and the list is long because the parents can't afford to pay the bill. That's where this fundraiser comes in. Part of the money that is raised is going to help pay down these accounts and give the parents one less thing to worry about.

The other part of the money that is raised is going to a local church to help families make it through the holidays. Families will be receiving a Thanksgiving dinner as well as toys for the kids at Christmas. Santa should come to every house this year regardless of financial situations.
