Hit és Fény / Faith and Light

Faith and Light consists of communities made up of persons with intellectual disabilities, their families and friends, particularly young friends, who meet together on a regular basis in a Christian spirit, to share friendship, pray together, fiesta and celebrate life. Communities exist all around the world, in more than a 100 countries - including Hungary. This year, on the first week-end of July, Faith and Light in Hungary organizes a special event, a so-called 'katimavik' - a meeting where current and expected members of the communities gather together for a weekend to share and show each other and the world their difficulties, joys, and hopes. These events are always a source of growth for our communities, and tide us through the difficulties of everyday life with a disability.
