NOW We know! it is not just a hip fracture, It was everyone's enemy a Cancer, "Lung Cancer" stage 4.

On April 19 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. she has 6 tumors already in her Adrenal, left and right Diaphragm, Lungs, etc.

The Cancer is already spreading in her bone we called "Bone Metastasis" that's why she has a Bone Fracture and Lumbar Problem.

Hip Replacement Surgery for Maria Farah

At last, I've realized that: being able to walk without pain is a blessing, being able to walk without showing the pain is a skill to unlearn (mom)

Where has all the happiness gone?

Many of you might be familiar with my mother, Farah. She is a caring individual who prioritizes the needs of others over her own. She has the heart of a servant and is always prepared to assist. My mom has been in excruciating pain for months and requires a hip replacement.

December last year, mum casually complained of hip pain, initially, we thought it will improve on its own but it appeared we were wrong, as what started mildly is exactly why we are organizing this fundraising.

By January, her hips had become so painful that it interfered with her everyday living; standing, taking a step and even getting dressed things usually taken for granted became impossible. Sleeping at night has been off the book for as long as I can remember, mom manages to only sit throughout the night and groan in pain…

Sadly, as you know, this condition is degenerative, at first, her doctor thought that physical therapy might help, but because her condition is advanced, it didn’t make a lot of difference.

On Feb 25, she was admitted into the City of Imus Doctors Hospital, after re-evaluating her challenging case, she was diagnosed not just with 'severe Disc slip' but also her hip Fracture this critical condition requires emergency hip replacement surgery.

We have exhausted all monetary savings due to frequent hospital visits. Hence, we are seeking your kind assistance to help her relieve this agonizing torture, improve her leg function and regain full mobility.

The recovery (following a successful surgery) is estimated at 2 months during which she will stay off anything strenuous recuperating, resuming Physiotherapy to heal nerve damage and rebuild muscle.

We wish to raise $8,000 to deposit as a down payment for this surgery, we are not asking for the full amount to be raised, just anything to get it going will suffice.

We never dreamt that it will get this tough, but fortune sometimes doesn't favor even the prepared, her life is at stake and to fight it through, we are resorting to any option that holds even the tiniest promise of help.
