Hiking for Psoriasis

The skin, just as a tree sheds all its leaves, also sheds then grows again in a silent, unnoticeable manner.That is so for normal skin, unlike mine,which has psoriasis- a skin autoimmune disease.I shed my skin hourly,I have patches like a cheetah all over my body. It can be very painful at times when Its itchy to the point of bleeding.Sometimes I'm flaky and it is very embarrassing especially when you want to attend a function and all eyes are on you. Many stare and ask questions..."Is it contagious?' or 'Did you burn?". Others say I look like an alien,all said and done I have to brace my self for my day to day activities. People living with psoriasis and psoriasis arthritis undergo a lot of challenges
such as Stigma,depression and low self esteem. All these are the invisible boogie mans under the closet that people contend with in the absence of others noticing or realizing. There is also medication which
has side effects of which some are extreme.I have had psoriasis for the last 18 yrs and I have grown to accept the condition I have. Psoriasis is not contagious. My dream is to create awareness and encourage other people living with psoriasis and psoriasis arthritis.Kindly help me climb Mt Kilimanjaro(Africa) and create awareness.Your kind donations will enable me attend the expedition which will be held in Dec 2018.Lets us all join hands and push me up the mountain while I put a smile on someone's face by encouraging psoriasis patients not to give up.One day we shall get a solution.Thank you to all my donors.
