Campaign Story
Hello !
My name is Jennifer Ledesma, I am an advertiser, I like to paint and draw, I like art direction and photography, sometimes I used to do sports and travel a lot ❤️.
Unfortunately, in 2019 I started to feel really bad... Then, later 2019, the doctors diagnose me a rare disease called rotational atlantoaxial dislocation that makes my head unstable all the time. Plus, I have an hypermobile genetic condition that makes my ligaments too much flexible and not strong enough to support my vertebrae. In fact, ausing me a lot of damage to the nerves and arteries that are connected to the brain, which are causing neurological symptoms as well.
This is why I am using a collar 24/7, which protects me from paralysis or quadryplegia, that is why the surgery is so important. I can't use it forever, so the solution that the neurosurgeons have ever given me is to fuse the first and second vertebra of my spine with titanium nails. Unfortunately this surgery is very expensive and only a few neurosurgeons here in Peru are capable to do it.
Thank you very much!!!! And with a lot of faith everything will be ok.
This just makes me more human, emphatic and strong than before.
