Campaign Story
Hi!! My name is Maya Penna-Scheer, and I am writing, directing, and editing a short film for my Capstone project at my high school, Great Path Academy. I am sharing this campaign with as many people I know to both raise money and gain social interest in the project!
The film will be called "Make Them Feel". It is a coming-of-age story about a fictional student named Joshua and their perception of the people around them in relation to their self. I am currently finishing my final draft of the screenplay and have scheduled auditions (Jan. 23rd) and crew production meetings. The final product is projected to be ready for screening on June 1st.
Our team so far includes myself (my Youtube and my instagram), my videographer and technology guru Tyler L, my jack-of-all-trades and avid photographer BrextenJ (his instagram), my old friend and editing handyman Connor Madison (his website), and my mentor/producer and professional sound engineer, John Bolduc (his studio's Facebook page).
The funds from this campaign will be used to provide craft services on set and at meetings and obtain any necessary equipment our crew does not already have. Since we will have about 10+ people on set every day of shooting and I am a student, we have a lot of mouths to feed and no money. Also, if we raise over the $500 goal, any extra funds will go straight into my college savings.

Due to problems at auditions, we had to add in another audition date, moving all the rest of the dates forward a few weeks. We have faced more problems and must reschedule the. . . . .
