High School Leadership Enrichment Program

I am currently developing a leadership enrichment program that will serve at risk high school students. In this particular high school leadership development programs are only offered to high honors students. The other students do not get a chance to understand leadership and the true importance of it. I believe that with encouragement and ongoing support, everyone can become a leader.

This program will allow students to gain life skills, explore their talents, and develop self confidence. The program will also provide knowledge and opportunities for the students to utilize their skills.

Program topics will include but are not limited to:

• goal setting
• life skills
• career/college readiness assesments
• resume building
• community service projects
• individualized educational/career plans
• one on one development coaching
• healthy lifestyles 

The program will promote excellence by challenging students to take healthy risks that will allow them to strengthen their skills. This program is truly dedicated to make change in the lives of students who are on the verge of giving up due to lack of support.

Funding is necessary for the program to provide guest speakers, healthy snacks, field trips, host events suchs as networking opportunities. Financial assistance will also help students with their community service projects and will help low income students with college application fees, and purchasing of mandatory sports team equipment etc. Your help would be invaluable to the lives of these students.
