The High Level Volunteer Fire Department is building a regional training facility to train volunteer firefighters from across northwest Alberta. This project is to build a live fire training tower that enables our firefighters to train safely on complex fire events such as second storey house fires and basement fires.  Travel from northern Alberta to other training facilities is expensive and time consuming and this project will not only save money for firefighters but allow them to train close to home without having to use personal holiday time to travel to other centres.   This project total cost is over $250,000.00 and the fire department has had contributions from municipal governments  but has to raise $82,000.00 on its own. Through corporate donations we have raised almost 60,000 of that total but we need help to raise the rest. We hope that through your donations we can reach our goal of providing great training to over 100 volunteer firefighters from across northern Alberta.  Volunteer fire fighters make up over 80% of the firefighters in Canada. As soon as you leave a major city, you are being protected by a volunteer department. Donate today to assist us in protecting you!
