Campaign Story
Hi everyone. I’m Isaac’s mother. Isaac is 19 years old this year. He was diagnosed with brain AVM. He fell into coma since 8th September 2019 around 10pm after he complained of stiff neck and started to perspire. He fell unconscious while on the way to the hospital in Johor Bahru.
The doctors did a CT scan for Isaac and found out there’s blood clot in his head.
After 2 hours there, the doctors said they can’t do anything there because of lack of equipment and doctors, they referred my son to another hospital.
My son stayed in the emergency rooms till the next morning 9.30am and then they transferred him to HDU. At 11am one of the doctors informed me and my husband that our son was brain dead. I was going totally insane. I told the nurses not to pull out any of the support without consent from us, and we won’t give up and will pray for a miracle. Not giving up, on the third day, 10 September 2019, my husband and I decided to send Isaac to Farrer Park Hospital, Singapore for treatment. Isaac went into surgery that night. Brain AVM and blood clot was removed. On 14 September, 2nd operation removed more AVM and more blood clots.
Isaac’s still in ICU and yet to awake.
To date, we have exhausted our cash and savings to settle Isaac's medical fees which we find it hard to sustain.
10/10/2019
Tomorrow doctor will do Insertion of right Ventriculoperitoneal shut surgery for Isaac, this is to relieves pressure on the brain by draining extra CSF.

We need your help! After struggling with headaches, fatigue, nausea and vision problems and a few referrals between optometrist’s and specialists, Inge Airoldi was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Everyone who knows Inge can testify that she is one of the sweetest humans around with an amazing depth of character, a diagnosis like this is enough to send anyone off their orbit but she has remained incredibly strong and positive as seen in a message sent to her friend group: “……They say it’s gonna be a long process with surgery, chemotherapy, physio and loads more. We are not on a medical aid so it’s gonna cost a lot and we don’t have the money, but I know God will provide. Please pray for me, I’m positive and know I will overcome it, it’s gonna be a journey but I will be a survivor! God will help me through this. Please keep me in your prayers, I love you all so much" On the 31st of October Inge was transported to Cape Town in an ambulance where she will have the tumour removed by an experienced neurosurgeon. At this point it is hard to say the exact amount required but Inge has a long road. However, with prayers, love and financial support she may soon go back to finishing her final school exams, hanging out with her boyfriend and friends and dreaming for the future.
