HEY COLON CANCER – YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG MOM !

It’s not easy to ask for help, but sometimes it’s the only option left. I hope for good people who have time to read the story below

My mom Barbara has been diagnosed initially with advanced ovarian cancer beginning of the year. What do we classify as advanced stage? The stage where doctors doubting about surgery and proper treatment as it may not help, BUT kill.

She went through first surgery where they removed the whole section related to ovarian and tumours.

After histopathology test it turned out to be very rare and aggressive type of caner that most likely doesn’t come from ovarian but the root cause must be located somewhere else. For another 3 months my mom went though numerous of tests, hospitals, CTs, and more which did not help in finding the cause and did not help to make the decision what she should be treated for.
Her stage gets worst every single day and cancer cells spread so quietly destroying her body.

It’s very difficult to get sick in Poland. For many institutions, you are just another number, but for me my mom is my whole life.She has been hospitalised in Germany where they found spreading tumours within colon and small intestine.

The ovarian was metastases. My mom had colon infection, infection in her stomach and was dehydrated, weak and skinny when she got to the hospital. She couldn’t be operated there and she went back to Poland. Unfortunately the tumours were not in Poland in the first place.

That time it could be a game changer to the type of treatment, chemo, maybe HIPEC we are really hoping for somewhere..

My mom wants to live and enjoy every day of her life.. She’s not the oldest woman and never suffered from anything until the day cancer got into her..

As it’s advanced, and rare type, so far no-one wants to operate her colon first before chemo at least not in general polish hospitals.. unfortunately where she lives, the type of treatments are very limited, they wanted to treat her for 'cancer' with no source, because all chemio is the same. We are seeking help from any other international doctors, clinics, specialists oncologists that possibly would consider better treatment and maybe heated chemo during the surgery.

We’ve been told regular chemo may not even be effective on this type of cancer, but worth to try.. We have no time to try. We need solutions in place that will extend my mom’s life.

The time is crucial as the food and nutritions does not even go though colon.. they go back causing vomiting..

It’s very very hard to ask for help, and some people may see it different, but I’ve got nothing to lose and I will do anything it takes to help my mom. I’ve got so many questions and no answers.

I’ve found one doctor in Germany within private clinic and we found one doctor in Poland that does private consultancy and works for private clinic.
Unfortunately those type of treatments combined with chemo, hospitalisation, transport, medical assistance 24/7 that my mom needs is incredibly expensive..

We are putting all of our money into medicines, nutritions, and everything she needs on a daily basis, but if there is even a chance for private surgery that will help her, we need help from good people who are willing to contribute and help me and my mom win this!

This may be the one of the hardest thing to go through with someone you love the most.Every new day is for us a win, but we don’t have much left.

We have all documentation available if any of you would like to verify that as well. (Any surgeon /oncologist willing to look into that if sees a chance of any other options)

Our goal is to collect enough money for private treatment in either Poland or Germany and consultation, transport and accommodation.

I know there are good people everywhere, and whoever is reading this story and is willing to share it and contribute, I will be grateful to each and one of you for the rest of my life. Every little bit counts to help my mom and help me to arrange consultations.

My mom was always there for me, in every part of my life, bad moments, always supportive and helpful. She went thought a lot of hard time in her life and now it’s time I can help her at least bringing all people together to contribute.

Additionally, if any of you knows someone who is open to talk about experience or was suffering with similar type of cancer, I will provide you her contact number. It can be either German or Polish. She needs a lot of talks and positive thinking people. Every person with the experience who would open up would be great help for us.
