Heroes for World Peace Association (Asociación Héroes para la Paz Mundial) is a non-profit organization located in San José, Costa Rica. It was created and developed by young students from the University of Costa Rica. These young people, driven by an ideal of providing a good to society while they pursue their careers, decided to develop social welfare activities, regardless of their lack of resources and institutional support. They wanted to develop activities that would have an impact on society and on the young participants themselves, working in areas and populations that require support from society and from young people.

They started with their first project in mid-2015, visiting the beaches of Puntarenas to clean the coast, under the name of Heroes. Parallel to this cleanup project, they began to visit a hospice for children belonging to low-income and socially-risk families. They continued working with these two projects for about a year.

In the middle of the year 2016, they founded the Asociación Héroes para la Paz Mundial (Heroes for World Peace Association) of Ipís of Goicoechea, and three objective areas were proposed to work and develop:
- Children of low-income families
- Elders
- Environment

From the foundation of the Association to the present, several projects have been developed: hospice for children, tutoring to elementary-aged children in a low-income area, visits to a nursing home, cleaning projects in the beach of Puntarenas and in the community, seminars dealing with environmental issues, food collection and other activities. Also, some activities to share and strengthen the relationship between the members of Heroes and their families, such as sharing events and concerts.

To carry out the activities, fundraising has been carried out and donations are received from the participants, however, it is not enough to be able to develop the projects properly. We needed to cut costs, decrease the number of activities and the quality of these. Despite the exponential growth of the membership since the founding of the Heroes Association, by the year 2019 it does not have the necessary resources to carry out the activities on a larger scale and to work in the three objective areas that were proposed at the beginning of Heroes.

Now we ask for your help to be able to continue during the year 2019 with the social welfare activities of Asociación Heroes para la Paz Mundial. We wish to carry out the activities with a higher quality level and with a greater number of participants, so that the impact on the populations we deal with and on society are greater than in previous years.

The funds raised will be used to support the planning, development and execution of each activity during 2019. They will also allow us to maintain the facilities we use as a base for the Heroes Association and cover other expenses related to the support of the projects we carry out.

世界平和連合、ヒーローズは、コスタリカのサンホセにある非営利団体です。このヒーローズは、コスタリカの大学生青年によって形成され発展してきました。

私たちは、学生生活と両立しながら金銭的に不十分な状態であっても、何からも援助を受けることができなかったとしても、それを問題とはせず社会に善なる影響を与え貢献したいという決意のもとで活動しています。

私たちの活動が、社会や援助を必要とする人たちや組織、貢献先、参加者、また私たち自身に大きなインパクトを残せるものへと発展していきたいと考えています。

最初のプロジェクトは２０１５年から始まり、ヒーローズの名でPuntarenasプンタレナスのビーチの清掃を行いました。これと並行して、十分な所得を受けることのできない家族または、社会問題を抱える両親を持つ、十分に教育を受けることが困難な子どもたちの養護施設を訪問し始めました。

1年間これらの2つのプロジェクトを継続し運営してきました。

２０１６年半ばより、私たちは 世界平和連合ヒーローズとして正式に設立し３つの活動を主に活動目的としています。

これらの活動を実施するために、募金活動を行い、参加者から寄付が寄せられていますが、プロジェクト実行、発展するにあたっては不十分です。コストを削減し、活動数と活動内容の質を軽減しなければならない状態です。ヒーローズの設立以来の会員数の急激な増加にもかかわらず、２０１９年までには、大規模に活動を実行し、主な3つの目的分野で活動するための必要な経費がありません。

世界平和連合ヒーローズの活動である良き社会貢献を２０１９年も継続していくことができるように、今、私たちはみなさんの援助を心からお願いします。

私たちの活動による社会への影響がこれまで以上に大きくなるように、より質の高いレベルでより多くの参加者で活動を実行したいと考えています。

寄付していただいたみなさんの大切な資金は、２０１９年中の各活動の計画、開発、実施のための支援金としてみなさんの温かい思いとともに使用させていただきます。また、ヒーローズの活動拠点として利用する施設の維持費として、プロジェクトの発展に関連するその他の費用として活用させていただきます。

세계평화를 위한 'Heroes(히어로즈)'연합은 코스타리카 산호세에 위치한 비영리 단체입니다. 저희 단체는 코스타리카 대학교의 젊은 학생들에 의해 창단됐습니다. 자원 및 제도적 지원 부족에도 불구하고 학생들은 자신의 커리어를 추구하는 동시에 사회에 선행을 베풀고자 하는 이상을 갖고 사회 복지 활동을 전개하게 됐습니다. 이들은 사회와 젊은이들로부터 지원이 필요한 대상자들에게 도움이 되며, 동시에 사회와 활동에 참여하는 젊은이들에게 영향을 줄 수 있는 활동을 개발하기 원했습니다.

히어로즈의 이름을 갖고 2015년 중반에 푼타레나스 해변 청소를 첫 번째 프로젝트로 활동을 전개해 왔습니다. 히어로즈는 지속적인 청소활동을 병행하며 동시에 저소득층 및 사회적 위험에 처한 가정의 어린이들을 위한 호스피스를 방문하는 봉사활동을 1년여간 전개해오고 있습니다.

2016년 중반, 세계평화를 위한 'Heroes(히어로즈)'연합을 창단하였고 아래의 3 가지 영역을 목표로하여 그에 대한 활동을 전개하고 발전시켜나오고 있습니다:
- 저소득층 가정의 어린이들
- 노인
- 환경

단체의 창단으로부터 현재까지 저소득층 가정의 아이들을 위한 요양원 봉사활동, 저소득층 가정의 초등학생들을 위한 과외 봉사활동, 양로원 봉사활동, 푼타레나스 해변을 포함한 지역 청소 봉사활동, 환경문제를 다룬 세미나 주관, 구호 식품 수집활동 및 여러 활동이 전개됐습니다. 뿐만 아니라 구호식품 수집 및 콘서트를 통한 나눔 활동을 통해서 히어로즈 멤버들과 그들의 가족과의 관계 또한 보강하고 있습니다.

이러한 활동을 전개해 나오기 위해서 모금 활동을 하고 참여해 주시는 분들로부터 기부를 받아왔지만 제대로 된 활동을 하기엔 부족함이 있었습니다. 봉사활동의 수와 질을 낮추어 비용을 절감해야 했습니다. 창단 이래로 회원수가 급격히 증가 했음에도 불구하고 2019년 현재 활동의 규모를 키우고 히어로즈 창단 때 지정한 3 가지 영역의 활동을 위한 자원을 갖지 못 하고 있습니다.

지금 2019년 저희 히어로즈의 사회 복지 활동을 계속하기 위해 여러분의 도움을 요청하고자 합니다. 히어로즈는 더욱 큰 규모에서 더 나은 질의 활동들을 통해서 지난 해들보다 사회와 주민들에게 더 큰 영향을 주기를 원합니다
