Heroes needed for Estelito’s medical treatment

I will be straightforward with this one, my father (Estelito) was diagnosed with a brain tumor (lodged in his ventricles) last October of 2013. Based from his own decision and the advice of his previous brain surgeon (back then the brain surgeon told us if my father was not feeling any headaches and such it would be best not to crack open anything), we decided not to go with any operation. Knowing little knowledge of the severity of our problem back then my mother and I just focused on my fathers current diabetes, kidney and heart complications.

We managed to keep a happy and healthy life style since then .... until 2017 happened. Four weeks ago my father experienced difficulty in walking, doing his current tasks, and even taking care of himself, a week after that, he cannot walk anymore, this was the time that my mother admitted him to a nearby hospital, after all the tests were done the MRI showed a considerable increase in his brain mass, this increased the pressure in his brain causing hydrocephalus. I tried to do a little research and found a way to have a non invasive treatment and decided to move him to the hospital specializing with gamma knife surgery.

The VP shunt + biopsy operation was nearly perfect but my father managed to have an ischemic stroke (not sure during/after the operation). My heart was broken, another problem was added to the list of our current pool of dilemmas.The only upside is that the biopsy showed us a benign tumor, now our next step would be doing radio therapy.

The hospital expenses just kept pilling up without any end in sight :(

This would be my first time doing this type of fundraising campaign so I am not really sure what would come out of this. I thought these kinds of problems can only be seen in some old school Filipino drama flick, but reality checked-in :(
