Campaign Story
Some might be tired already seeing my posts about what my family's going through right now. But our current situation is way beyond us. I surely wish I could post a more positive message but I am afraid I bear a not so good news... we are in GREAT need for more heroes...
My mom... the person I owe my life to and who I love dearly is now a dialysis patient with an ovarian cancer. This was the diagnosis of Radiation Oncologist is in. She is need of 24-day daily radiation, Monday to Friday. This is to lessen the risk of operation. After which she will be re-assessed to see if will be able to undergo the an operation. Otherwise, she will have to go through the much dreaded chemo. Yes, this is on top of her regular medications and two-days-a-week dialysis sessions.
I have always been positive about the whole ordeal (even during my sister's battle with her own cancers) but I believe this is on a different level, big time... the intensity of the situation is in an all time high... the new battle we are facing... tougher... will definitely cost more than our combined life savings (which is pretty much zip 😵😜😭). Definitely overwhelmed and in a daze but we remain in fighting mode... especially my mom is nowhere near quitting.
We have reached out to all the government agencies/offices and organizations we can think of for support. Also thinking of organising a fundraiser like what we did for my sister (had to run my first 10K and organise a badminton tournament)... But we know it might not be enough.
Thus, we are again humbly asking for your continued support by being continuing being her hero. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. She would love to continue being a doting mother and grandmother. She would love to be able to go back to her usual routine and cooking meals for the family. Please help us giver her more time to enjoy life. She deserves it very much.
Also, if you can please join us in praying for her well-being, we would appreciate it very much.
