Mount Royale Ranch & Hero Lodge Project, will provide Therapeutic Riding Program for veteran's and wounded warriors. Therapeutic Riding has been very effective and proven to increase mobility, confidence, balance, muscle strength and tone. The lodge also provides a comfortable safe environment for their families to to re-connect and get to know one another again. The number of service members and veterans out number the facilities available to service our hero's. We need your support to make this project and dream a reality. Join us in this effort by making a contribution. Thank you!

Mount Royale Ranch is where Hero Lodge  will be located on 9 acres treed with Aspens and Evergreen  in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, off of Hwy. 159 near the town of Fort Garland, Colorado and Alamosa, Colordo.

The lodge will be named " Hero Lodge " to honor the sacrifice of the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families who's dedication to keep our nation free has never wavered. We realize that we have set an ambitious goal for our funding campaign. That is why there is no limit on the Hero Lodge Collectors Edition Tee Shirt, we re offering in thanks for your valued contribution. As a former military wife I know firsthand the life of a military family and soldier must sacrifice and give in support and defense of our great nation.

We all either know someone in the service or a military family, Veteran, Wounded Warrior or one of the fallen. So many times they are forgotten. Once the cheering stops and the welcome home party has ended and everyone has gone home.......The Veteran, soldier and families still must go forward. This is our way of giving back. Hero Lodge will be so much more than a home away from home it will also offer Horsebck Riding Therapy programs that will help soldiers and Veterans with PTSS (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) and also riding programs for wounded warriors who have lost a limb in the war. If we don't help who will? Many programs invite the mlitary and veterans but do so at a discount. We take care of everything 100% from the lodging, activities in the local community, therapudic programs. The families and soldiers need a special place to heal, renew thier relationship with their families and them selves. Therpudic Riding Programs have been highly successful in giving the freedom of mobility to Wounded Warriors and Veterans.

We are dedicating our time and lives to those who have sacrificed so much. What we will give and do for them is so little in comparision.

During my years as a military wife I have held corporate positions as a V.P. Sales & Marketing, Dir. of Marketing, Gallery Director, Property Manager, HOA Administrator, Events & Catering Dir., Small Bus Owner, Owner/Manager of Horse Boarding Facility, Office Manager, Entrepreneur, Owner/Founder of Project Dev. Company, Manufactured & Modular Home sales, F&I Manager. Last but not least mother and friend. I wanted you to know my background as a business person. It is important that you know that your precious contributions to Hero Lodge will be managed responsibly. To offset the high cost of labor we will enlist the assistance of volunteers for the administration of the facility. Construction labor will also be drawn from skilled volunteers in the construction industry, community and military volunteers.Hero Lodge will be a “Home Away From Home”for all to enjoy. Military families and single solders alike will be welcomed with open arms as will our Veterans.

MRR Hero Lodge will host 100% of their stay at no cost. Lodging, food, beverages, recreation will all be provided in a relaxing stress free environment. The goal is for families and single soldiers to be able to have fun and re-connect in a worry free zone while having a good old fashioned American country experience. MRR is currently funded through private donations that are tax deductible. Soon we will file for our 503c which will allow us to be listed as a non-profit organization. Until that time we will continue to move towards our goal of breaking ground to build “ Hero Lodge”. It will be comprised of a 20 room log home lodge, 60x120 Barn and Indoor riding arena and stables, 10 Log home cabins, Pole Barn banquet and outdoor stage, variety of recreational equipment, Rec Center, service and recreational vehicles. Before we can open our doors to host these Hero's we have a great deal of work to do. This is a summary of the phases of the project.

Phase I: contributions will purchase the Lodge Log Home kit, permits and licensing, insurance, install services, electric, well, septic, foundations, fencing, security, log home kits, equipment, tools, out buildings, machinery, supplies, furnishing, staff.

We realize this is a vast under taking, our efforts will never compare or add up to the lives lost and the sacrifices made by our soldiers. With your assistance we can get 25k people to give the minimum, we can reach our goal. Hero Lodge will sustain and maintain operations through grants, donations, catering & events. We ask that you have a heart for this project and all that it can do to lift the spirits and heal the soul of the Hero's who are our sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, grandfathers & mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. That is why I am confident we will be able to make this dream come true. Our goal is to raise 4.5-5 million USD through donations. It will take hard work and determination to complete our mission. In preparation of our successful completion of Hero Lodge.

We have set a few dates to celebrate completion of this worthy project. We want to be sure to show our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped to make this project possible. Mark your calendars!
