HERO DOGS: Therapy & Detection Dog Program

Help fund startup costs for HERO DOGS Therapy and Detection Dog Program and change lives. Our mission is to produce and train quality Retriever dogs to join our therapy & wellness programs in Canada for special needs and mental health affected children and adults.

Our K9 training academy will distribute highly trained dogs to those who have specific needs that a therapy or detection K9 can fulfill.

Therapy animals provide powerful psychological support to those in need. Research shows how strong of a positive impact life-changing therapy dogs can bring to people of all walks of life. Detection K9 Dogs can be trained to locate virtually any substance including explosives, narcotics, cancer and disease, and even bed bugs. Detection K9 dogs brings safety and security to the community.

Funding to our HERO DOGS program goes towards the startup costs or sourcing perfect canine candidates, veterinary and care costs, and training; as well as going towards our new building at the centre.
