Heritage Preservation by New Technology

Im Gaurish Rane, And Im from Goa-India.

By Profession Im an CAD Engineer and Having a CAD Office back here.

name is CADD Works.

In Goa and overall India ter are a lots of Archaeological and Heritage sites with Old Portuguese Churches and Houses an Ancient Architectures which needs to be preserved for future Restorations.

So these structures needs to be preserved in some digital form to restore in future.

A technology known as 3D Laser Scanning is an Breakthrough with which we can Preserve these Ancient and old Architectures for future Restorations.

Here in comes my role Im in CAD field since 12 years and familiar with all aspects of Social as well as technical requirements.

I tried to Hire 3D Scanners from Metros in India (like Mumbai and Delhi), But the Rent are so high that i alone cannot afford to do these data

Preservation work which i want to do at a very lesser charges as Institutions like Churches or Individuals owning old Portuguese Houses cannot

afford to pay such High Rent.

So the option tat looks good to me is Purchase of a 3D Scanner (new or Used) and do this job of ancient Heritage Culture preservation.

Now what Im looking from you'll is. Is der any such donor with you'll who can donate a Used or New "3D scanner" ( or fund equivalent to it)

( I prefer the 3D scanner itself) { As such scanners are available at much lesser price in US and Europe compared to in India}.

Now the Price of These scanners ranges from $15,000 to $30,000 and above (These are long range laser 3D Scanners)

I can provide Technical details of such Scanners if any donor is Interested.

I would also like to add , Im also Ready for Donation on basis of Returns if any one wants to invest in that terms.

I hav tried to explain as much possible in this one mail but would be glad to elaborate more if needed.
