Who are we?

We are group of young people that operates within the Association "Učiona tradicije i kreativnosti“ in Valley of Plaški, Croatia.

Our goal is to preserve the tradition and culture through the processing of medicinal herbs, creating jobs for the local population.We offer the knowledge of recepies for best natural cosmetics and herbal remedies, while raising awareness about preserving health and connection with nature. By taking a holistic approach to hand-crafting our products, monitoring the seasonality of the plants we use and educate about the benefits and health of herbs, we provide our clients with a natural, healthy product - and they in turn help support the local economy and sustainable business models which supports growth of economy in our community.We organize: Educations, excursions, nature camps and online seminars, we raise awareness of the need to preserve the nature of our region, as well as the preservation of traditions and crafts of our ancestors, which are mostly forgotten among the younger generations.We operate in a rural area affected by war trauma, where there is a trend of unemployment, displacement and forgetting crafts. With our brand we want to create a platform for young people to educate and offer safe jobs for the local population, while encourage self-sustainability as the basis of community development.We are in need for your supportso we can invest in resources for production, materials and safe space for education and promotion of our work.
