As a young girl, I loved cooking and the passion for cooking led me to starting a food processing company...but before then, here is my story...

I am a former banker with 5 years experience in product development, business strategy and IT systems with a background in Actuarial Sciences and some bit of accounting.

I have always wanted to own my very own business so in 2016, I took a big step to start a fashion business. I quickly realized fashion was all well and good if I was doing it for myself and not for commerical purposes. Stuck in a rut, with no money, but needing to survive in Nairobi, Her Kitchn was born!

With only 10USD, I successfully build my company to where we are right now! How we started

We are a woman led natural sauce and paste company and get our veggie produce from local small scale farmers. Our vision is to be a prevalent household item in Kenya and thereafter Africa! We are dreaming big!

2. Getting our production process in order - prepare for scaling
3. Marketing campaigns in order to reach the mass
4. Distribution of sauces at a low fee to Rural Kenya

What unique thing will we do?

1. We plan to launch a campaign to distribute our top 100% natural sauce that has no additives or preservatives at a low cost to rural Kenya in order to ensure Kenyans have access to affordable healthier alternatives to their meals
2. We plan to launch product 'specials' where we will create a buzz around the company by creating limited offer sauce, pastes etc from all over the world. The specials with be specific and time barred.
