A little helping hand with my rent

Hi everyone!

My name is Shih-Hsun but I've been called William my whole life for the simple fact that my Chinese name is too hard to pronounce!

I'm a third year music student at the South African College of Music in Cape Town, South Africa.

I will soon be in my final year of study for a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in Western Classical Violin Performance.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that my parents' business going bankrupt and into a lot of debt, I have had to move out of the flat that I've been staying at since 2013 when I started at university.

I have looked for a place to rent on my own that is near where I study and would like to ask anyone out there who is willing to help in any way that they can, to contribute a little towards my monthly rent.

Heck, I know that it is a lot to ask for, especially due to the fact that I am a complete stranger and so are you. Where do I even begin?

I love to play my violin, practice, perform and play for others. My dream one day is to be a great violin teacher one day like my old violin teacher who has since passed. I hope to pass on the skill and art of violin playing to the next generation, and in order to do so and continue my studies; I would like to reach out to ask for some help with paying for my monthly rent while I continue to do what I love and hone my art.

I would be eternally grateful for any sort of help in any way possible.
