I would like to tell you a touching, sad story of a family. I do not want to disclose names for their security as they are currently in asylum. They are from Pakistan and all are Christian by birth. They are currently living in a place that also can not be disclosed for their protection. A husband, wife and 2 twin kids 5 years old. Altogether they are 4 members. Currently, are on an appointment card from UNCHR.

Why did they leave out of Pakistan and took asylum? Because they were not safe in Pakistan, especially their kids. Pakistan wanted them to renounce their Christian faith, so they had to leave out of Pakistan and take asylum.

As you may or may not know, living in asylum is very tough, one can’t get a job which prevents them from being able to earn a living and in return live a normal life. For the same reason their kids are not able to go to school. Living in asylum is a tough life. It's their 3rd year there (country where they are living as an asylum seeker) with little to no hope of going to Canada. Canada is the most respected and supporting country for asylum seekers and refugees.

I'm their private sponsor. I would like to request from you to please have a kind look at their case and help them out so that we can raise the funds required for them to come to Canada and live a better life. Your support will give them a better future and an opportunity for a better life and education, especially for their young kids.

I want to put one very important thing into your notice. Unless they have a private sponsorship (me) and funds raised (us) UNCHR will not take any kind notice upon their case, even if they remain in asylum for years upon years. It's their 3rd year on an appointment card with UNCHR but still haven't got any call for an interview. With your help, once they will raise the funds necessary this process will be done faster.

So, I humbly request for you to please extend your kind hand upon them.

As you might know, PAKISTAN is ranked No. 5 as the most dangerous country for Christians. In Pakistan, all Christians (4 million out 204 million people) suffer from institutionalized discrimination, illustrated by the fact that occupations seen as low, dirty, and derogatory are reserved for religious minorities by the authorities. Many Christians are poor, and some are victims of bonded labor. Their are Christians belonging to the middle class as well, but this economic status doesn’t save Christians from being marginalized or persecuted in Islamic culture—believers are always at risk because of the country’s notorious blasphemy laws. We need your support and kind hand as Brothers and Sisters in Christ but also by just being human.

As it’s also written in Bible:

God commands us to care for the weak. It is one of his enduring refrains throughout Scripture. The all powerful Creator of the universe sees every need and watches over every single vulnerable person on earth. One of the powerful ways that God shows care for the disadvantaged is by making it a priority for his people to help them.

“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you.” Leviticus 25:35

“There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore, I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.” Deuteronomy 15:11

“A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge.” Proverbs 29:7:

“For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall.” Isaiah 25:4

“If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.” Isaiah 58:10

“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8

One of the ways that God shows us how to be generous is by giving us examples of generosity throughout Scripture. Here are a few examples:

“Good will come to those who are generous and give freely, who conduct their affairs with justice: Psalms 112:5

"One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty" Proverbs 11:24

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." Hebrews 13:16

Please support this family and greater cause. Please give them a favorable response and extend your kind and caring hand upon them.
