Help save Janna from cancer!

Janna is a young 4 year old Golden Retriever. She is very sincere, obedient and cares deeply about her owners. Dealing with a tough childhood, big anxiety issues she had to find a new family where she could live happily. Her new family accepted her with open arms and hearts as well as a retriever boy named Matthiass who was already present in the family, was excited to welcome her. Janna found her happy place.
This spring brought sad news for Janna as she was diagnosed with Leukemia, which requires chemotherapy. The amount of joy and excitement for life she has, shows how strong in spirit she is, even if the illness has overtaken her poor body. Janna is facing the crossroad - to have a chance to survive this and continue bringing joy to her family and beloved retriever friend - Matthiass or slowly die from Leukemia. She truly shows a strong desire to continue living, she is not ready to leave her family yet! She is still so young!
We believe in her strong spirit and we hope she survives - she deserves it! We would highly appreciate any help you can give us to be able to help her stay alive!

Jannai jau ir bijusi ļoti grūta bērnība. Saimnieki no viņas atteicās. Jau pēc kāda laika Jannai tika atrasta jauna ģimene, kur viņu jau gaidīja viņas jaunais sirdsdraugs- Matiass. Mēs (jaunā ģimene) viņu ļoti, ļoti mīlam, tāpēc vēlējāmies arī kādu kucēnu no Jannas. Gribējām atstāt uz šīs pasaules kādu, kas būtu saistīts ar mūsu supermīļo un draudzīgo ķepaini. Tika veiktas visas nepieciešamās veselības pārbaudes (displāzijas tests, acu pārbaude utt.). Tika veiktas arī analīzes, kur tajā laikā netika atrastas nekādas pazīmes no slimības.

Šī gada pavasarī viss sāka mainīties - Janna manāmi nejutās labi. Viņa sāka neēst savu barību, ēda tikai gaļu un našķus, kas arī nebija daudz. Mēs sākām uztraukties, tāpēc intereses pēc izmērījām arī temperatūru, kas bija krietni paaugstināta. Devāmies uz vetklīniku, kur veicām jaunas asins analīzes. Tās bija kritiskas! Ilgi negaidot, mēs vedām viņu uz labāko klīniku - LLU Mazo dzīvnieku klīniku. Tika veikta ultrasonogrāfija, rentgens, daudzas analīzes, viņai vajadzēja palikt slimnīcā lai saņemtu sistēmas un zāles katru dienu. Kad ieradāmies, pēc neilga laika mums jau teica, ka ir nepieciešams donors, lai veiktu asins pārliešanu. Viņai tika diagnosticēta Anaplazmoze. Bet ārsti vēl šaubījās par viņas diagnozi, jo viņas analīzes nebūtu tik sliktas no Anaplazmozes vien. Viņai tika uzsākta ārstēšana, taču nekļuva labāk. Lai dzīvotu, viņai bija nepieciešama otrā asins pārliešana. Veica vēl citus testus, lai saprastu, kāda ir viņas diagnoze. Viņas asins paraugi tika nosūtīti uz laboratoriju Vācijā - Laboklin. Arī viņi nespēja noteikt viņas diagnozi, taču bija pārliecināti, ka tā nav Anaplazmoze. Tā kā viņas organisms lēnām dzisa, viņas trombocītu skaits asinīs bija 0 un visi pārējie dzīvībai nepieciešamie asins rezultāti bija ļoti zemi, mēs reaģēt ātri un nolēmām, ka Jannai veiksim biopsiju. Pēc operācijas tika veikta jau trešā asins pārliešana. Mēs baidījāmies no tā ļaunākā. Vēzis. Mūsu vetārsts teica, ka tā ir leikēmija, ka, lai viņa dzīvotu, ir nepieciešama ķīmijterapija. Tā ir ļoti dārga un šajā brīdī mums jau sāk izsīkt iekrājumi, lai turpinātu Jannas ārstēšanu. Mēs viņu ļoti, ļoti mīlam un negribam viņu zaudēt. Viņa vēl ir tik jauna...

Viņa ir kā mūsu ģimenes loceklis, mūsu labākais draugs... Viņa jau ir piedzīvojusi pārāk daudz ciešanu... Janna ir pelnījusi dzīvot!

это Janna, золотистый ретривер 4 года, у которой любящие и преданные владельцы. До марта она жила полноценной жизнью, была активна и всеми любима, но внезапно подкралась несчастье и Janna серьёзно заболела. После нескольких недель борьбы за ее жизнь и попыток диагностировать заболевание, одно можно сказать наверняка - у нее рак. У Janna лейкемия, которая требует химической терапии. Процесс был сложным и болезненным, и сейчас для терапии уже и заканчиваются деньги. Владельцы Janna очень любят ее и поэтому они обращаются ко всем за помощью. Мы должны помочь этой семье пережить кризис! любая сумма которую пожертвуете- имеет значение!

Janna has had a tough childhood. She ended up being abandoned by her family already during her first year of life. Her foster mom helped finding her a new loving home, with a family already owning another golden retriever, while treating her UTI which had been going on for a while. She had huge anxiety issues and the new family worked hard and got through all of that. With time, Janna started turning in to a very happy dog and she was even able to win a champion title in dog shows. Today she is not showing any signs of anxiety at all! Her family loved her so much, that they wanted a puppy from Janna. Because she’s an amazing family dog, loyal, smart, happy, sweet, loving and really kind. So they got a Cynological diploma and decided to breed her. Jannas family did all the necessary health tests (dysplasia test, eye check, etc.) Also a blood test where there, at that time, were no signs of illness.

March 2020 things started to change and Janna was not herself anymore. It all started with Janna not eating her food anymore, just ate meat and snacks, but not a lot. Owners started to worry and took her temperature, which was increased. They took Janna to the vet and took new blood tests. They were horrible! Janna was fading away. Devastated her owners rushed to the best clinic in the country. Ultrasonography, X-ray, numerous blood tests had too be done, she had to stay in the clinic to receive I/V injections with fluids and medicine every day. And also her first blood transfusion. She was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis. But the vet was doubting this diagnosis because then her blood results wouldn’t be so bad just from the anaplasmosis alone. She started treatment but didn’t get better. She had to have a second blood transfusion, just to stay alive, meanwhile other tests were done to try to find out the diagnosis. Labs were very unspecific and it was very hard to figure out what was going on with her. Special package with her blood samples were sent to laboratory in Germany - Laboklin. They could not figure it out either but they were just sure this is not anaplasmosis. Since her system was failing, her Platelet count was 0 and all other important blood results were super low, owners had to act quickly, Janna had to have a Biopsy. And after the operation a third blood transfusion was preformed.. Feared for the worst. Cancer.. Our vet told us it’s Leukemia and that we need chemical trials. They are really expensive and we have run out of money completely at this point of her diagnosis and treatment and can not continue. Jannas owners love her very much and don’t want to lose her. She is still so young.. They want to fight as long as it’s possible.
