MEWA COMMUNITY CENTER offers an accessible and local point for school going students, researchers, NGOs, CBO, residents and generally youths to seek information through the Ali Mazrui library, vocational training center with an objective of facilitating the establishment of educational training institutions and centers of excellence in order to create greater access to educational opportunities at all levels and develops the community members’ capacity to engage in socio-economic interventions.

The community center is open to the general public, our first floor hosts the late Prof Ali Mazrui Library which is a fully equipped ultra-modern library with a capacity of 300 students on a daily basis. it further hosts the American space, the space generally allows young people to learn & share information regarding America is it to study or research.

The space is well equipped and suitable for meetings & seminars with our executive Board room and a Conference hall at the 3rd floor, the 4th floor is under construction through well wishers for a proposed school of Nursing. we are currently raising funds for a proposed drop in center for women in drug addiction, a STEM hub for promotion of Women and girls in Technology a reproductive health space and a Doctors Plaza.
