The Educational and Social upliftment Society aims at providing quality education to underprivileged kids throughout the state of Bihar, India. Bihar has a total rural literacy rate of 53.9 % leading to multiple social and economic issues in the state. Due to lack of availability of quality education, drop out rates have increased as much as 83% in the previous years. We are facing our worst inequality ever.Our society since inception has been trying to address this issue. However, the task at hand is huge and we cannot do this alone. The money that you donate goes directly towards the education of children, ensuring that we can reach out to every single child and build new classrooms to help us accommodate more children. By donating to our cause you are not only bringing children a step closer to quality education but you are also bringing them closer to a new way of life. A life of choices and dreams.

Background:

I was one of those lucky few in this state to have received quality education, going on to work with multinational corporations like IBM and Target Corporation. After years of experience in the corporate sector, I have found my true calling and am back in the state to realize this dream for other kids. No matter what one's gender, culture, or socioeconomic status is, everyone should be given the opportunity to receive an equal and quality education.
