Campaign Story
Rez is 35 years old and is a hardworking supervisor at a company in Manila. He provides for his family and dreams of starting his own business in the future.
Last year, Rez experienced difficulty in breathing, coughing incessantly. A tumor was later found on his left lung last June 2018. And based on the latest CT scan he had this year, his left lung is now damaged completely with the tumor continually spreading to his right lung.
Doctors cannot yet proceed with a treatment plan, because even after three biopsies and ruling out Tuberculosis, there is still no conclusive diagnosis for his deteriorating health. Lung cancer is possible but not yet confirmed.
Rez continues to work to make ends meet, but relying solely on his family income would not be enough to continue with the recommended medical procedures.
We, friends and family of Rez, humbly ask for financial assistance to help cover the mounting medical costs required to conclusively diagnose and treat his condition.
He has been through a difficult year, with his dad passing away early this 2019 and his health concerns draining his savings. And yet, despite his current circumstances, Rez still maintains a positive outlook and lives each day with a grateful heart. This inspires us to fight with him.
It would mean the world to him if you can financially contribute for the VATS procedure, possibly his last chance and most invasive procedure that the doctors have advised. It costs a minimum of Php 200,000. No donation is too little or too small.
Help us fight with Rez. We are not giving up hope.
