Fundraising For The Dogs And Cats At Animal Rescue Kefalonia

Animal Rescue Kefalonia (ARK) is a Greek registered charity which was founded in 2011 by a team of animal-loving people who live in Argostoli. The charity’s aim is to rescue, provide care and shelter, rehabilitate and rehome Kefalonia’s stray animal population.

ARK is run by two amazing ladies, Joyce and Marina, who look after around 450 dogs and cats every single day in the shelter and on the Greek island. They rely on donations and have really struggled over the last few months as there have been very few volunteers and donations due to COVID-19.

I am volunteering at ARK for a week in September and will be sharing my volunteering experience and encouraging others to consider helping out at the rescue on my Instagram - @HelpRescuePets.

To help raise money for the rescue, I am running a raffle! There are many prizes to be won, including a week’s stay at a holiday home in Wooler, lots of food and accessories for your dogs, toiletries, homeware and many more! 100% of the money raised will go towards the animals at ARK. How to enter:

Donate through this site (GoGetFunding) - Only £2 a ticket! You can enter as many times as you would like. To enter, please make your donation and then contact me to get your raffle numbers! Please contact me by either messaging @HelpRescuePets on Instagram, by emailing [email protected] or by messaging HelpRescuePetsUK on Facebook, for each £2 you’ve donated, I’ll allocate you a raffle ticket and tell you your numbers!

The raffle is open to the whole of the UK and you must be 16+ to enter. Raffle licensed by NWLDC, registration number 56.

The raffle will run from the 1st September to the 31st October. The drawing of the raffle will be done through a random number generator, it will be recorded and posted online for entrants to see. Winners will then be contacted within 1 week after the raffle ends.

GoGetFunding is not associated with the raffle in any way, this platform is only used for collecting the donations, the raffle will be drawn and carried out through other platforms.
