Hello everyone. I am Pia Bañares and I am asking for your help for my little warrior Clarent. He is currently in the Nicu (neonatal intensive care unit) as of this time. They had to do an emergency C section on me, coz when they checked me my waterbag was broken already, the doctor can touch my baby's hand and his cord. My cervix was open at 8 cm, I didnt know I am having contractions, I was just peeing too much thats why we decided to go to the hospital. We were not ready, we are not expecting it. I just had my last check up with my ob last dec 4 and he was doing well. My baby was born prematurely at 31 weeks last Dec 19, 2018. He weighs 2lbs and 7oz. He was born without a pulse, he pressed his own cord. He was revived twice first when he came out then when he is in the icu. Thank God he was revived, he is indeed a fighter. Complications came out because of him being a pre term baby. Medicines and treatments are given to him everyday, and he is responding very well thank God. He has to undergo ultrasounds and xrays to check his body. They transfuse blood on him because his red blood cells became low, he has blood cloth also fortunately his blood is okay now. He cant still breathe on his own, he is having a hard time maybe because his lungs are still developing. He has to poop a lot so that the doctors can feed him with my milk. I think my milk can help him to have a strong immune system. We are really praying for it. Our hospital bills are becoming huge and we dont have enough money to finance it all. I am just a plain housewife and my husband works in a construction. Thats why I am knocking at your hearts, hope you can help my little warrior. Any amount will do. And please pray for my little warrior Clarent.
