Campaign Story
Nozomi is a meerkat who has been living in a wire cage at a pet store in Sendai for over a year. A meerkat rescue organization in California (Fellow Earthlings' Wildlife Center) has agreed to adopt him and give him a new life outdoors.
This rescue was started in February, but due to COVID-19, everything was put on hold because of flight restrictions. However, an animal sanctuary in Chiba (Mina's Animal Sanctuary) has agreed to host him temporarily, and we hope to bring him there in September until he can fly to his forever home.
We only have three months left to raise the rest of the funds for his purchase, so please consider donating.
Every little bit helps to get him out of his cage and on his journey home!

This weekend, I took Nozomi to Mina's Animal Sanctuary where he can stay until travel restrictions are lifted and he can fly to CA to his forever home.
