Hey Nexus Hub fans!
As you all know, we are a completely independent business. Times are tough for everyone at the moment, and we have done everything we can to keep our heads above water while staying closed. But with the recent announcement of an extension of the Covid-19 lockdown, it’s got to the point where we humbly need to ask for your help.
Due to the enforced lockdown, we have been unable to trade in any capacity, be it the retail store, our community or brand events and even retail of physical items on our website. This means we are unable to generate any income over the duration of the lockdown and in some cases have even had to refund orders where game/product releases have been delayed or cancelled indefinitely.
As the Nexus Hub, we have always been about the people, our community and our shared love of our collective hobbies, but times have changed and circumstances beyond our control force us to reach out and ask our community for assistance so we can continue to pay our staff during this difficult time. We want to ensure that when we all come out of this, we are still able to re-open with the same incredible team that has always been your Nexus Hub.
All funds raised through this campaign go directly to the staff of Nexus Popular Culture PTY, from our retail, the content writers for Nexus Media (Nexushub and Glitched.online) and our events staff. This includes the systems that help sustain them and their jobs during these trying times.
Should we meet the 300k target funding, anything raised above said target, will continue to be used to support our staff post lockdown and the systems required for them to remain employed.
