Raise money for Mary Florlaine L. Pineda

Dear Family and Friends,

We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to raise fund for Mary Florlaine L. Pineda (my sister) and her family, and we need your help!

Lenlen is currently battling Cancer. She’s been diagnosed last October 15, 2019 with Breast Cancer Stage IIIA. She had undergone series of chemotherapy and had her right breast removed last February 2020. Just last 21st of June 2020, she was informed by her Oncologist, after doing some tests,that she came positive for HER2 which is a protein in breast CA that promotes cancer cells. She was then advised to do what they call TARGETED THERAPY which is the best option to make her well again. The therapy needs the medication called TRASTUZUMAB which comes in a vial of 600mg. My sister needs 18 cycles of the therapy and 950 mg of TRASTUZUMAB for each cycle and this needs to start ASAP. One vial of the medication costs PHP 90,000 (1800 USD) and she needs 2 of those each session amounting PHP2.6Million for the 18 cycles.

She is 33 yo and a mother of 2 little princesses (a 1yo and a 4 yo). The effects of this illness are devastating to her and her family; however the prognosis for breast cancer is really good with a full recovery if treated the right way. She has a fierce spirit. Even with the current crisis, she’s doing her best along with her husband to provide for their kids. We don’t want to lose to this fight that’s why we are knocking into everyone’s heart to help us fight CANCER. Help us make my sister healthy again. Our goal is to raise as much as we can just to ease the medical expenses that is putting stress to our family.
