Campaign Story
On August 3, 2014, the Islamic State attacked the Yezidis of Sinjar in Iraq’s Nineveh province. Thousands of Yezidis were massacred and many others abducted, while more than half a million fled for their lives.
“We heard several accounts of girls being gifted or sold to Isis fighters as sex slaves and the boys being forced into training camps,”
“More than one third of the kidnapped are still missing and it wasn’t possible to determine whether they are still alive or not.
“This is really an ongoing genocide because thousands of people are still in captivity.”
After three years the international community have not helped to rescue Yezidis girls. The world failed Yezidis minority's in Middle East.
However today we have good news that there's still Yezidis women and girls are alive in Syria, most of you knows that Canada have brought some Yezidis families who escaped from Isis captivity, but some family members were left behind they couldn't rescue them, today some of these families have received phone calls from their loved ones in Isis captivity in Syria.
We have individuals working very hard in Iraq and Syria to rescue these Yezidis girls, they need everyone to support this cause financially. We need your help to free some of them and reunite them with their loved ones here in Canada. Please help as much as you can just think about rescuing a human being as a slave.
The money will be used to keep these individuals continue searching for missing Yezidis girls and women's in Iraq and Syria. Sometimes they have to pay some villagers to get information regarding a Yazidi person living in their village, so very much they drive from place to place, when they find them they bring them back to refugees camp in Iraq and help them recover from what they went through for the last three years as slaves.
