My name is Martin Casas III a Filipino born and raise in Philippines. I am the founder of Alagang Kalusugan Inc. (Health Care Inc. in English). I am seeking for $100,000 donation from your kind hearts.

Alagang Kalusugan is a Non-profit organization that cater the needs of elderly and less privileged poor members of our country. Alagang Kalusugan focus on giving them a Healthier life and a livelihood that will uplift their welfare.

Why?

Helping the elderly and poor has been a life mission for me. I got a chance to create Alagang Kalusugan Inc. (Health Care Inc. in English) last 2015, I was 25 years old back then.

It started with a desire to help elderly especially the poor ones that cannot afford their healthcare.

Healthcare is the biggest expense for the Elderly.

In our country Philippines, If you can't afford healthcare ,the medicine and the hospitalization, you die. In poor countries it is Wealth is Health.

How I get Started?

I was doing great financially when I started Alagang Kalusugan Inc. I was 25 years old, and is focused to find a real meaning in my life.

Inspired by the philanthropic works of the rich and successful like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Mark Zuckerberg, I decided to spent my time and resources helping other people.

I created a program wherein the elderly will be given a general checkup, eyeglasses, cataract removal, dental check up and many more.

The Struggles

Alagang Kalusugan Inc. applied to become a social welfare agency, it is for us to get allowance from the government to expand our operation. Up to this date we still dont get any endorsement.

Another problem that Alagang Kalusugan Inc. currently facing is lack of operational budget due to deminishing sponsorships.

As a founder It hurts me to see an organization such as Alagang Kalusugan Inc. stunted its growth potential because of lack in finances.

The situation got even worse when I personally got into an investment scam with a total loss amounting to $36,000 USD (1.8M Pesos). The money that I reserved as an emergency fund/ buffer fund for Alagang Kalusugan Inc.

Nevertheless I realize that there is still hope.

I believe that there is a lot a generous people and if you can't find one then be one.

The Fund that will be pooled will help thousands of Elderly Filipino and poor families in the Philppines.
