Helping Theodore fight MND and buy an Electronic Wheel Chair

My DAD, Theodore has been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease. He is deteriorating fast and does not have Medical insurance or Policies to help us cover the extreme costs required.

As we all know there is NO CURE for this dreaded disease.

We would like to make him as comfortable as possible and require the chair with urgency for him to still be mobile in the house.

The chair is a major purchase to give him some independence but we also require many other things. The bathroom in the house needs to be renovated as he cannot stand to get into the shower, and he would love to have a shower.

This is so hard and frustrating watching my father become trapped in his body - a man that was so active and busy, to being confined to a chair. He cannot eat without help, he cannot use the bathroom by himself, and he is totally dependent on my mom. She is his day and night caregiver but is also employed full time so he attends work with her. He sits in the car and waits while she is at the office.Her employer has been really fantastic and allows her to work from home on selected days. The chair will also assist her in getting him out of the house to accompany her to work.
