Helping the People in Need

I, Guitarist Guitarwithlegs (stage name), is looking to raise money to help fund my groups tour, new tour vehicle, recording, marketing of the album, and new album. We are not signed to a major label so we are in need of help. Out of the money donated we are only using 20% at the most. The other 80% after the taxes are paid will be going to charities that have more expenses then income; this will be deducted after the taxes we have to pay on the amount raised. If people can help us we can help others also. This is why we are giving a minimum of 80% away; we are not doing this to get rich, just to get help on a few expenses. From the kind generosity of others we pass it on even more to other people in need to help put food in the mouths of children in the USA that will go days without a meal. I and my band do this not because it’s a good deed but because it is only right to help people in true need.

 

Even though the amount we our asking is such a high amount we are doing this for two reasons; one is to get help with a few expenses, & two and the main reason is to donate large amounts to charities that put out more then they receive. I, myself (Guitarwithlegs) will be personally handing each of these charities large checks, but only if we can raise the projected amount. If that is a case it gives us the ability to donate $100,000-$150,000 dollars to each of these charities that we find are in need. Just think how many people that will feed. We will make sure each charity that receives money from us knows that it was raised and not coming directly from the band or me.

 

If we can reach are goal of $2,750,000 dollars, after 40% in taxes and 10% from fundraiser sites and paypal, we can then donate a minimum of $100,000 dollars to at least 11 different charities that are in need of help. Just think how much food can be bought and given to people, and just imagine how many children won’t be going to bed hungry or going all day with no food because they can’t even afford a candy bar. Our main goal is to help children, give them the food and help they disserve. A child is born into the situation they don’t create it. This is why they need help the most. We do not care where they live, what skin color they are, what religion they are or anything else. If children or adults need help we need to help; that is our duty of being human. With the extra money that is not used I will be buying gifts, or helping to pay medical bills for children in burn units, cancer units, and other life threatening situations. This is our main goal; to make a difference in a child’s life, because they deserve it the most.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everyone who donates will receive a copy of all the donations to charities to see that we have done what we said we will do whether through email or mail.

 

Donations Under $25 dollars will receive 2 free tickets to one of our concerts in your area.

 

Donations $25 dollars and over will receive a CD, & 2 free tickets to our Concert in your area.

 

Donations $75 dollars and over will receive a CD, T-shirt, & 4 free tickets to 2 of our concerts in your area.

 

Donations over $500 dollars you will receive tickets for 3 shows for free for you and your friends along with signed t-shirts, Signed CDs, & a concert DVD with special backstage footage and off stage band footage from the upcoming tour.

 

Donations over $2,500 dollars you will receive tickets for you and your friends for 5 shows free and 4 back stage passes, signed t-shirts, Signed CDs, & a concert DVD with special backstage footage and off stage band footage from the upcoming tour.

 

Donations $10,000 and over will receive tickets for you and friends for 5 shows, 5 backstage passes, and to hang out with the band after the show, signed t-shirts, Signed CDs, & a concert DVD with special backstage footage and off stage band footage from the upcoming tour.

 

 

 

 

 

Tour:

We will be touring most of the country out to the Rockies and most likely in Canada as well. However we have to foot the bill as most bands do on tours. This comes at a large expense out of pocket with the cost of gas, repairs, food, and misc expenses. During this tour we will be playing Charity events at no profit also.

 

Tour Vehicle:

 

Currently we are using multiple older vehicles. We are hoping to get some help with money towards a small RV or bus and trailer for gear. Being able to raise money towards this would be a blessing. The ability to have a vehicle that is reliable and something that would cut down on hotel costs would be great. We can only ask for help by the generous people of the world.

 

 

Recording:

 

Currently our group has low grade recording gear and can’t afford to pay for an expensive quality studio in order to get a hi-grade recording. With a little help from fundraising and what we have already we can afford to do our first high quality and very professional recording both audio and video.

 

 

Marketing the Album:

 

As anyone knows in order to market and album properly it takes A LOT of time. Being on the road touring just doesn’t allow for the band itself to do the marketing, which leads to us having to pay for it to be done. This can get expensive very quick and frankly if you’re not selling out shows to 10,000 or more the common band can’t afford to do it. So the marketing is another thing we are trying to get help with. We are going to be having to pay a marketing company in order to have the album pushed correctly and to a mass amount of people.

 

 

Making the Album:

 

We are on the verge of developing a sound unlike anything herd yet. It is completely unique and different from anything produced. Who ever donates more then $25 dollars will receive the album prior to its release and signed by everyone in the group. As anyone knows the process of making an album is long and the cost can be in to the 10s of thousands with special effects, gear, studio time, and hiring musicians. This covers the marketing and recording of the album also.

 

 

 

 

I really hope you decide to donate to our cause. This will help thousands of people if we can reach our goal & help us with are recording and touring. I personally will be donating 10-15% of my yearly earnings from touring on top of what is raised. Personally I am in no means using a fundraiser or even music to get rich; my main concern is the help people and children first. I will be donating everything from funds raised from fundraising to the donations from tour profits anonymously; I do not want to be recognized nor publicized for large donations and prefer to stay anonymous. I simply do it because people are in need. This is the chance I have with help of others to make a big difference in areas that need it with charities that actually help, unlike the big organizations as many people know use donations as a profit instead of helping the people. As stated before we really hope you help us with what we are looking to do; and if you do donate we can’t thank you enough for helping with the donations to charities and for the help of some of our album and tour expenses.
