Helping The Needy

Greetings my fellow earthlings after months and months of applying for voluntary work I have received a placement at The Heartwood Orphan  in Zuanna Town, Liberia and I will be departing on 25th June 2014 for 1 month to go and work alongside people who are living with no food no shelter and no families.

My main aim is to go out there and spread the love within the community and help these people because sometimes I think to myself I am sitting here with food with shelter and most importantly a FAMILY and at the same time people are dying because they dont have the necessties that most people do. Why is that fair? So after a few years of me working and fundraising I decided to buy myself a ticket to go abroad and make the difference, because at the end of the day we are all humans and everyone can make a difference no matter what the race or religion everyone deserves to live a life of joy and pleasure.

There are approximatly 130 children living at this orphanage with the ages ranging from 8-20 years.  I will be spending my time working with all age groups, the activities would vary, I would be focusing on mainly teaching the youths maths and english, showing them educational applications on a desktop computer, medical care and also loving guardianship.

Now I am reaching out to you guys to make this a dream come true because i would like to turn up at the orphanage with suitcases full of goodies such as  toys, books, movies, tablets, and so much more accesories, Imagine what the kids would be like when they open up the suitcases and have the biggest smiles on their faces dancing around going wild. I would do anything to help others and now im urging you guys to come along on this adventure and help me make this dream come true!

But i cant do everything but surely what i can do is help put smiles on other people's faces wheter it be for a while or forever im always going to try!
