Tracy is in the middle of treatments to fight the cancer that has attacked her body. Her attitude is amazing, and inspiring, and if a smile or a laugh could conquer cancer, she would have won the fight already.
Her daughter is headed off to her junior year of college, her oldest son begins his first year of college, and her youngest son is about to enter high school this fall. Now her husband Mike is in the position of caregiver as well as holding down his job, managing medical issues, and figuring out how to live on one income. Not to mention grocery shopping, juggling schedules, and managing the household.
Tracy had to close down her daycare, and while she would much rather be caring for children than receiving infusion, she knows her job now is to fight this disease. Unfortunately that job does not have a paycheck. And while insurance covers many things, there are always extra medical expenses.
The Lanes are fortunate to have many family and friends in their life who have provided encouragement and meals; this is the chance to help them on another level.
While the Lanes are a family that would never ask for help, fortunately this site is available to share their message and allow them to take the help we want them to have.
Know that the gifts you give will be given forward, when the Lanes have won this battle and can help others.
Thank you for your kindness.

(The photo of Tracy was taken in front of hydrangeas, which she loves, on her way out for a hike, another of her favorite things. We all hope she will be enjoying these things again soon!)
