Helping the homeless! carepackages

Hello i'm Gabrielle or Gabby for short :) I have wanted for a long while to start this fundraising to help those who don't have the amazing opportunities that I have in life. I have been so blessed and it wasn't until recently that I realised, I have a wonderful family, boyfriend, and wonderful friends and I don't know why I am so lucky. I do know that there are people that have lost everything, and there seems to be some misconceptions about homeless people. Many people don't realise that somebody who is living on the street is literally at the worst point in their life and has very little left in the way of options. I would like to adress this problem in a small but as helpful way as I can do. I want to raise money for care packages, these will contain raincoats (due to Londons indecicive weather), gift cards for food places, blankets, socks, toiletries and anything else that might just help make somebodys day just a little bit better. I will be handind these care packages out (if I get the money) on the 13th of september by which I would have liked to have raised 400 pounds. I have some money from my birthday that just past that I will be using to buy waterproof rucksacks as many of the homeless people I have spoken too have told me of their bags often breaking due to the harsh conditions of the weather. Please, I know you work hard for youe money, but think, if it where you and you had lost everything, your home, your family and whatever possesions you may have, would you want somebody to just ignore you? Any ammount of money is appreciated. Thank you so much for reading, sorry if it's a bit messy in places i'm only 17 not as sophisticated as i'd like to be yet!!! :) Gabby x x x
