I frequently come across smart young entrepreneurs who need more than just off the cuff advice to start their business but cannot afford the cost of assistance.
This project aims to raise USD5,000, being half the cost (the other half is from me!) for me to take on the startup which I think offers the most value to its intended market in terms of innovation, differentiation from competitors, success potential, and take them through the process of systematic planning, angel funding applications and see them off the blocks to their first revenue goal.
This might appeal to anyone who has had a little help themselves in starting a business, anyone who wishes to encourage young people to start a business with a fighting chance of success, and encourage self development and the next generation of global entrepreneurs.
Funding via this site will allow me to select the most promising candidate by end September 2013, details of progress will posted on my site and Twitter account to propagate the experience to a wide audience and other entrepreneurs who can learn from the experience - a blow by blow account of how it was done, what worked and what didn't, rather than the usual raft of books on how to succeed, by way of contribution to the young entrepreneur category at large.
Thank you for your time in reading this, and in anticipation of your donation, large or small!
