Helping my wife after my passing.

I've just recently found out I have heart failure and don't know how much time I have left. What I do know is that I cannot afford any type of life insurance to help my wife continue with her life without worry after I'm gone. This is why I've come to this site. I have tried to find life insurance but once they know of my condition the rates are more than we can afford. I'm not asking for a lot as she does receive a small social security check each month, but it's not nearly enough to pay the mortgage and other monthly bills. We do not live a lavish life, just a comfortable one and I would like for her to be able to continue this type of comfortable lifestyle after I'm gone. Thanks for any help in advance.
