Helping my family rebuild our house destroyed by Typhoon Odette Philippines 2021

Typhoon Rai also known as Typhoon Odette PH struck on December 16, 2021 and destroyed almost our entire city in Cebu City, Philippines. Thousands left homeless at Christmas and facing New Year which includes my family. Our house was totally destroyed by the typhoon. Aside from losing our house, we are also experiencing lack of water and electricity. Drinking water is scarce too.

As the eldest of the family, I can really feel the pain and struggle my family is facing but my income is not enough for the housing materials. My parents also don't have the capacity to assist financially since both of them are physically challenged. My mother is a left leg amputee and my father is a polio victim. My father doesn't have a job and my mom is only working locally.

Right now, we are grateful that we are alive despite the tumultuous event we faced but I strongly believe that all your help can change our lives. We honestly need food pack and drinking water to survive daily, housing materials and generator for us to start one day at a time.

So I am here. We are here knocking in your hearts so we can rebuild our humble home and survive till everything is restored here in our city. Your kindness will go a long long way for us.
