Helping Matt

Helping Matt is a brand new movement to promote awareness and fund treatment for Matt who is suffering from Fibrosing Mediastinitis. This rare disease has a devastating effect on the airways, esophagus, the heart and major arteries. In Matt, the disease has progressed to the point that lifting a box causes him to be out a breath which is a far cry from two years ago when he worked out and ran regularly. To date there is no medical treatment or cure with most of the available data on this disease limited to case reports or small case series.
