Campaign Story
For those of you who don't know Hudson's story, Hudson and his two siblings were found at three weeks old severely abused and malnourished. Hudson's paw was cut off and all three were nailed to the railroad ties in Albany,New York. Hudson became one of the first dogs in New York State to receive a prosthetic limb. Since being rescued, Hudson has become a therapy dog, a breed ambassador and an inspiration to others, Caring and Sharing and Pawing it Forward.
In 2015, Hudson was honored as the American Humane Association's Hero Therapy Dog of the year. Now at the age of four (4) he is facing some new challenges. Due to his abuse, Hudson's good leg has deteriorated to such an extent that he now requires a wheel cart and extensive physical therapy to retain his muscle mass. Since the costs are ongoing, anything over what we need will be donated to help other animals in need. We really do appreciate all of your Wuv and Woofport.
