helping homeless man and his dog

Hi everyone   thanks for reading! I met a homeless guy in liverpool city centre with his dog and was hoping to raise some money for him after he touched my heart! I gave him 2 pounds and he was very greatful, his dog is very well looked after. He then told me he had bee set alight by someone and his dog had dragged him to safety. I had my niece with me at the time and he had some chocolate and gave her some I told him to keep it for himself and he told me that if he gets money he buys chocolates for children. He was lovely I had tears running down my face when I left I was just hoping to get him somewhere safe to stay with his dog    thanks so much for reading god bless x
